Today i want to Introduce you all to Srinivasa Ramanujan - A Great Indian Mathematician who measured IMPERFECTION during his PURSUIT OF ABSOLUTE MATHEMATICAL PERFECTION.
In Retrospect ;
NATURE that represents PERFECTION = MASCULINE ENERGY = PURSUIT OF FOOD / SEX / SURVIVAL = GENUINE POSITIVE FEELINGS.
FORCES OF NATURE represents IMPERFECTION = FEMININE ENERGY = GENUINE NEGATIVE FEELINGS = INTUITION AND WISDOM.
Both Masculine and Feminine Energies are present within each one of us irrespective of our Gender.
Balance of Masculine and Feminine Energies creates an ULTIMATE INNER BALANCE !
All of us are in search of that OTHER HALF - ULTIMATE INNER BALANCE.
We SEEK what is WITHIN.
Tat-Tvam-Asi = You are that which you SEEK.
Srinivasa Ramanujan MATHEMATICALLY calculated IMPERFECTION.
Srinivasa Ramanujan's style was very enigmatic ; he stated the FINAL EQUATIONS FIRST without providing the STEPS OF THE EQUATION.
Meaning - He first IMAGINED THE FINAL MATHEMATICAL EQUATION and then he DERIVES the STEPS OF THE EQUATION.
Lets take a simple example : A Neural Network Model is run inside our Brain and we make a DECISION.
NATURAL DECISION = (Y) = NATURAL INTELLIGENCE.
Y has to be Modeled ARTIFICIALLY.
Let Z1 be an Input Variable.
(In the reality there will be many Input Variables)
What we need to PROVE is ;
NATURAL INTELLIGENCE (Y) = ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (Y)
You assign a weight (B1) to Input Variable to arrive at AI Equation.
Y = B1*Z1
Y = Natural (Y) and
B1*Z1 = Artificial (Y) = Predicted (Y)
Srinivasa Ramanujan provides DIFFERENT TYPES OF MATHEMATICAL EQUATIONS to British Trinity College.
But in all his equations Natural (Y) was slightly DIFFERENT from Predicted (Y).
British Trinity College asked Srinivasa Ramanujan to DERIVE THE STEPS OF THE EQUATION claiming that Natural (Y) was not EQUAL to Artificially Predicted (Y). There is a MISTAKE and they cannot PUBLISH his Mathematical Equations.
Srinivasa Ramanujan explained that ;
The difference between Natural (Y) and Artificial (Y) has to be understood INTUITIVELY AND IT CANNOT BE MEASURED.
However the British asked him to CALCULATE INTUITION and they cannot publish his Mathematical Equation until the time Natural (Y) = Artificial (Y)
Srinivasa Ramanujan continues to solve the equation to prove that ; Natural (Y) = Artificial (Y)
He applied Calculus to derive weight (B1) for the Input Variable (Z1).
He calculates ; calculates and calculates until the time he encountered with ENDLESS DECIMALS.
HE CALLED THESE ENDLESS DECIMALS INFINITY / INFINITE SERIES.
He then estimated that the DIFFERENCE between Natural (Y) and Artificial (Y) is caused by INFINITY (ENDLESS DECIMALS).
INFINITY = ENDLESS
Hey the DECIMALS does not END here...
ABSOLUTE PERFECTION IS ENDLESS.
Srinivasa Ramanujan Introduced INFINITY to the WORLD.
He mathematically proved that ABSOLUTE PERFECTION is ENDLESS.
ABSOLUTE PERFECTION = INFINITY and it cannot be achieved.
Ramanujan decides to stop working on ENDLESS DECIMALS and RATHER complete the EQUATION.
He called the difference between NATURAL (Y) and ARTIFICIAL (Y) as ERROR.
ERROR = IMPERFECTION.
IMPERFECTION IS THE OUTCOME OF ENDLESS INFINITY.
He then Adds ERROR to B1*Z1 in order to make it Equal to Natural (Y).
Artificial (Y) = B1*Z1 + Error.
Artificial (Y) can become equal to Natural (Y) only after adding ERROR to the equation.
B1*Z1 = PERFECTION CREATED BY MAN but it is NOT EQUAL TO NATURAL (Y) unless you ADD ERROR to it.
Man can NEVER ACHIEVE PERFECTION because PERFECTION IS ENDLESS INFINITY.
All that MAN is capable of arriving at is : Artificial (Y) = B1*Z1 + Error
INFINITY = PERFECTION IS ENDLESS
Finally Srinivasa Ramanujan's Mathematical Equations were being published by Trinity College and he became the FIRST INDIAN AND THE YOUNGEST "Fellow of Trinity College - CAMBRIDGE".
You can choose any type of mathematical equation in your AI / ML ALGORITHM ; But whatever may be the type of equation you are solving ; "INFINITY AND CALCULUS is the BASIS behind ALL WEIGHT ESTIMATIONS".
Once the machine arrives at INFINITY ; Error is computed to complete the Equation.
Y = B1*Z1 + Error
Y = Nature's Perfection
B1*Z1 = Artificial Perfection created by Machine
Error = IMPERFECTION
Imagine we would NOT have had Artificial Intelligence without Srinivasa Ramanujan ;
Imagine we would NOT have had Machine Learning without
Srinivasa Ramanujan ;
Imagine we would NOT have had Data Science without
Srinivasa Ramanujan ;
Srinivasa Ramanujan proved that :
"We are merely explorers of INFINITY in the pursuit of ABSOLUTE PERFECTION !"
WE CANNOT BE PERFECT.
And God expresses his existence in the form of INFINITY.
Even Mathematics need an ERROR (IMPERFECTION) to complete the EQUATION.
We must understand that PERFECTION is ENDLESS INFINITY ; The only way to BECOME COMPLETE is by ACCEPTING IMPERFECTION.
We have already taught British that -

Now lets teach the same to AMERICANS ;
We dont believe in FITTING INTO NORMAL CURVE and trading with IMPERFECTION.
